Michelle Carter has 26 years of experience as a professional hair designer. Michelle’s beginnings are traced back to South Africa where her career began with Carlton Hair International.
Michelle is currently a master of Hair Artistry and an accomplished show-person having won numerous awards and show standings. She has personally created and coordinated all of the looks and styles for hundreds of Models for numerous and varied hair and fashion shows. Michelle has been head of Education for Carlton Hair Academy and trained thousands of students to become professional stylists.
As a Mentor, Michelle’s passion has been and will always be excellence, which is what motivates her. She is currently not taking on any new guests, but come see anyone from the Alkali team for an excellent hair experience.
Frank
Bristol Location
With over 30 years of experience and having trained with the “best of the best,” Frank Doyle is a specialist in all things hair! His skills were honed early in his cosmetology career at Dominique’s and refined under the expert tutelage of world renowned Sassoon. Holding certifications from Schwarzkopf, Clairol and Framesi, his talent as a color specialist and technician is unparalleled, not to mention his advance color training with Sassoon.
Frank’s expertise in advanced hair cutting and styling has earned him many accolades and accreditations both in the world of hair and cosmetology competitions as well as his time spent as a platform artist. Realizing her true calling was hair, Betty Garcia started her career at the age of 20. Her love of the arts can be seen in her style aesthetic. Betty trained in the city of Fullerton at a European based company which specializes in fashion forward hair coloring and modern haircutting. Working with top master hairstylists has left Betty with exceptional skills in every hair type. She is a versatile and in demand hairstylist. Her discipline, sincerity, and strong enthusiasm for her craft is what keeps her clients returning for more. Along with behind the chair management and styling, her passion for learning and continuous education in current trends and skills is a testament to her commitment as a hairstylist. Betty specializes in many artistic coloring techniques including fantasy color, platinum blondes, balayage, ombre, and color melts, as well as specializing in Keratin treatments, and Brazilian Blowouts. She is also a certified master in I-Tip and Skin Weft extensions. Corey Rosenbaum is a great addition to the AL.KA.LI team with her vivacious energetic personality. She is a Paul Mitchell graduate and has been licensed for 8 years. Corey is certified in extensions (Beads, Wefts, Keratin Bonds, Skin Wefts), keratin treatments (Global Keratin, Keratin Complex, Giajjarah, Brazilian Gloss) and color (Tigi, Wella, Matrix, Paul Mitchell, Redken). She also loves dramatic hairstyle changes and educating her guests on premium home haircare.

Dannielle

Dannielle has been doing hair since 2009. Always having an artistic passion growing up, she decided to express her creativity through hair. She graduated from Marinello Schools of Beauty and continued her education and mastering her skills from Carlton Hair International and advanced courses in cut and color from Vidal Sassoon.
She is inspired by the art of hair and is always up to date with the hottest trends and must haves. Always being a perfectionist at heart, she specializes in a wide variety of color placement, balayage, ombre, color melts and dimensional highlights for every skin tone and the ideal cut for every face shape. Her ability to create texture in any cut is what keeps her guests coming back for more. Whether your desire is a long layered balayage or a highlighted short textured bob she will go above and beyond to meet your needs and make your Alkali visit an experience you deserve!
Lindsey
Bristol Location
Lindsey puts her heart and soul into every guest, taking time to really listen to their wants and needs. Lindsey started her career over ten years ago in Beverly Hills at Juan Juan Salon. From there she moved to Carlton Hair in South Coast Plaza, becoming a master stylist.
Lindsey's passion for her craft inspired her to become a master educator at Carlton Hair, teaching classes to assistants and other hairdressers. She keeps up with the newest trends by continually taking advanced classes with companies such as Vidal Sassoon, Toni and Guy, Schwarzkopf and Goldwell.
In Lindsey’s free time you will find her in nature, finding inspiration for hair.
Jennifer

Starting her hair career early at the age of 18, Jennifer attended Paul Mitchell the school in Costa Mesa. There, she was trained under the watchful eyes of Robert Cromeans, Angus Mitchell, Stephanie Kocielski, and many renowned and respected names in the industry. She started straying from the Paul Mitchell color line to explore others such as Kenra, Redken, LK, Artego, Joico, Goldwell, and Schwartzkopf. She specializes in balayages and ombres, as well as Keratin and Brazilian Blowout treatments. Jennifer herself has naturally curly hair so she understands the challenges that comes with it.
Even though she loves everything about the craft, her true love is blow drying and styling since it defines and shows off the color or haircut in all its glory. Even since Jennifer graduated, she still takes color and cutting classes to keep up with the latest trends in the industry and she makes sure that she uses her own creative techniques on every guest in her chair so that each color and style is unique. Jennifer is a perfect fit with the AL.KA.LI. team because they all strive to make sure their guests receive the 5 star service that the salon is known for.
Celeste
Bristol Location
Celeste was first inspired to do hairdressing by her grandmother at a very young age. While growing up her passion for hairdressing grew stronger and stronger. She was the go to person for all of her friends and family members when it came to hair styling and haircuts. She also enjoys doing fantasy colors, men's cuts, and Brazilian/Keratin treatments. During her upcoming in hairdressing she got the opportunity to be mentored by our very own Michelle Carter and Frank Doyle. She enjoys the opportunity to apply her experience, education, and love of this profession to give her guests an enjoyable and satisfying salon experience.
Emily

Emily started her Hairdressing career in 2012 at the age of 18. She attended Marinello School of Beauty at the Lake Forest campus location. Emily loves meeting new people and enjoys giving her guest an awesome experience here at Alkali Salon. She has a passion for her craft when it comes to styling and giving her guest the ideal look that they desire. She is passionate for the structure of creative cutting such as the graduated bob, she likes to enhance and refine the texture to haircut. Emily still seeks for more educational classes in the beauty industry to keep up with all the new trends.
Chey
MacArthur Location
Cheyenne, aka Chey, has been behind the chair for 4 years. Her love for the art started at a young age with tv and movies. From that point on she was hooked always wanting to make people feel their best. Fascinated with the transformation that takes place behind every look. She began her education at Career Academy of Beauty in Garden Grove and continues to learn the latest styles/trends. Trained in the Sassoon way of cutting and coloring she strives to always keep growing and evolving with the beauty industry. Chey enjoys haircutting, fantasy colors, balayage and giving her guest the best experience possible.
Olivia

Olivia Boyer always knew she had a passion for the beauty industry since she was a child. She began her career in 2014 at the age of 18 when she attended Golden West College's Cosmetology program in Huntington Beach, California. Her passion only continued to grow and thrive there. While still furthering her education and perfecting her skills, Olivia has been doing hair for over 3 years. With the help of her past mentors, including our very own Alchemist Linsdey, she has been able to specialize in balayage services. She believes education is key in this industry. "We are constantly learning every day. As hairstylists we need to challenge ourselves and each other because there is always room for growth."
Olivia makes sure all of her guests walk out with a smile and confidence by providing her quality service, friendly personality, and love for creativity.
Tara
Bristol Location
Tara has a passion for all things creative and loves creating each of her guests a work of art all their own to show off their own unique personality. Tara believes your hair can say so much about yourself without ever having to speak. Her calm, warm and positive vibe immediately makes her comfortable to be around. She resides in Huntington Beach with her husband and two kids. Tara studied Cosmetology at the Aveda Institute and recieved her license in beginning of 2011. Having been in the industry for over 6 years she has found that blowouts, styling, all haircutting, multidimensional blondes and fashion colors are where her passion lies but also loves doing everything in between.
Tiphani

Tiphani has been doing hair for 5+ years and going on 2 years being a part of Alkali team. She grew up in Orange County and she now lives in Huntington Beach with her son. Tiphani has always had a passion for connecting with people and being creative. She attended and graduated from the Goldenwest Community Collage's Cosmetology Program in Huntington Beach and trained in precision haircutting with The Kingly Hair Group. As well as hair cutting, Tiphani's services include Keratin smoothing treatments, balayage/ombré, fantasy colors and highlights. She always ensures that her guests have the best experience and leave the salon feeling confident.
